Military authorities have placed immediate-past General Officer Commanding (GOC), 8 Division, Sokoto, Major General Hakeem Otiki, under house arrest after some soldiers carted away at least N400 million under his watch. Four Turkish expatriates kidnapped in Kwara

Armed bandits have allegedly abducted four Turkish expatriates at a local drinking joint in Gbale village, Edu local government area of Kwara State. The incident, it was gathered occurred at about 10pm, on Saturday while the men were having fun at the local joint in the village.
