Femi Onireti, a philanthropist and an Indigene of Ogbomoso, Oyo State has strongly condemned the killing of Jimoh Isiaka during the #END SARS peaceful protest in Ogbomoso.
He urged the people of OGBOMOSO to remain calm and should not respond with violence as nothing good comes out of violent clashes.
The business man of international repute bemoaned the death of the young Isiska noting that it is not only against universal human rights but also runs foul of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He said: “We are in a democratic system and our constitution allows the right to freedom of speech and assembly.”
Onireti called on the government and relevant agencies to investigate the unfortunate incident and ensure that justice is served while praying for the family of the deceased:
“My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the deceased.
“The Lord will comfort them and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.”, He said.
