Oyo PDP chieftain, Dare Adeleke, has described the death of a former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. AbdulRazaq Ademola Abdullah, fondly known as Omo Sheu, as shocking and deeply painful.

Reacting to the demise, Adeleke said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost a solid pillar, noting that Abdullah was one of the committed men whose dedication helped sustain and strengthen the party over the years.

Adeleke recalled that the late lawmaker represented Ibadan South East Constituency I between 2019 and 2023, where he distinguished himself with what he described as an admirable record of service and stewardship. He added that even after leaving office, Abdullah remained an active member of the PDP and a dependable pillar of support to his community and Oyo State at large.

Oyo State has indeed lost a good man and a great politician,” Adeleke said.

“On behalf of my family and myself, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, the people of Ibadan South East, and the entire people of Oyo State. I pray that God grants them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
