Oyo State chieftain, APM/PDP, Hon. Dare Adeleke, has congratulated the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Dr. Ademola Obafemi Ojo, on the occasion of his 64th birthday.

In a congratulatory message, Adeleke described Dr. Ojo as a distinguished gentleman, accomplished public servant and a dependable pillar of his community, whose life has been defined by service, humility, responsibility and commitment to the wellbeing of others.
Adeleke noted that Dr. Ojo’s appointment to oversee Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters places him in a particularly important position, given the critical role of local governments and traditional institutions in maintaining grassroots development, social cohesion and effective governance.
According to him, Dr. Ojo, whom he described as a reliable friend, has demonstrated the temperament, experience and maturity required to navigate the complexities of public administration while maintaining respect for the people and institutions he serves.
He further praised the Commissioner for his accessibility, humility and willingness to engage with people at all levels, describing these qualities as essential attributes of a public servant entrusted with responsibilities that directly affect communities across Oyo State.
“At 64, Dr. Ademola Ojo has every reason to look back with gratitude at a life of meaningful service, dedication and positive impact. Adeleke also commended the Commissioner for his contribution to the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience would continue to be deployed towards strengthening local governance and fostering harmonious relationships between government and traditional institutions.
He described Dr. Ojo as “a man of character, substance and uncommon humility”, adding that his birthday was not merely an occasion to celebrate another year but also an opportunity to recognise a life dedicated to family, community and public service.
