Former Super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi has called on Victor Osimhen to take the next major leap in his football journey by securing a move to the English Premier League. Praising Osimhen as a “warrior,” Amokachi believes the Nigerian star has all it takes to succeed in one of the world’s most demanding competitions.
Reflecting on his own experience playing in England and Turkey with clubs like Everton and Besiktas, Amokachi expressed complete faith in Osimhen’s ability to adapt to the Premier League’s intensity and pace.
Currently on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray, Osimhen has been in sensational form, scoring 33 goals and providing 8 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions this season. His performances have attracted interest from top Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea, ahead of the summer transfer window.
Amokachi highlighted Osimhen’s resilience and hunger, qualities he believes will serve him well in England.
