Once again, the sick dog has crawled out of its filthy, feces-infested kennel, attempting to bark, but only a pathetic whimper escapes its frail mouth, spreading its foul breath within its confined space.
How else can one describe the Oyo APC? It exists only in the imaginations of those who claim allegiance to it, a party thoroughly defeated and relegated to the backwaters of its inglorious history.
I read with bemusement and pity the latest feeble attempt by the so-called APC in Oyo State to discredit the governors of Oyo and Osun States; His Excellency Seyi Makinde and His Excellency Ademola Adeleke. The effort was not only laughable but also a pointer to the intellectual bankruptcy of these deplorable nitwits.
Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that this gang is either a collection of simpletons or opportunistic “where-belle-face” politicians desperate for crumbs from Aso Rock. Indeed, they must be thoroughly starved, as even their master in the Villa recognizes them as nothing more than crippled house rats. Simply put, Oyo, Osun, and soon, Ekiti, are beyond the reach of the APC, a party now thoroughly loathed by the common man.
Interestingly, these charlatans’ foray into terrains beyond their intellectual capacity only underscores why the APC continues to falter, stumble, and fade into political irrelevance in these states.
Governor Seyi Makinde was entirely within his rights to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the legally constituted local government chairmen. Resorting to name-calling will neither erase his achievements nor mask the fact that he has outperformed their former governor of eight years, the late Abiola Ajimobi. It also won’t change the reality that the APC will never again win an election in Oyo State.
Only a hollow soul, staggering in search of nonexistent laurels from his benefactors, would fault a PDP governor’s support for another PDP governor; especially one like Ademola Adeleke, who consistently delivers the dividends of democracy and continues to give the APC a thorough whipping at every election.
It appears the sick dog in Oyo has infected its counterpart in Osun, leaving it equally frail and unlikely to recover. The APC is finished in these states, and the sooner its scattered remnants accept this reality, the better for their collective mental well-being. Otherwise, they will continue exposing themselves as pitiable dolts.
Now, let’s dissect the crux of the matter and present it in plain terms for the public, as the APC has once again resorted to peddling lies.
Experts have explained it clearly – “Every very suit or appeal has its own reference case file and is independent of others, depending on jurisdiction. Each ruling applies solely to the parties involved and holds no superiority unless overturned by a higher court.
In the Osun APC case, the party had to apply for the relisting of their dismissed appeal against the APP suit that nullified the so-called “Yes or No” chairmen and councillors. If the Court of Appeal’s ruling on the PDP suit were indeed superior, the APC wouldn’t have needed to seek relisting.”
Simply put, each court ruling stands until a higher court decides otherwise. The focus should not be on hollow rhetoric but on ensuring that political interests do not fuel further conflict, allowing peace to prevail.
In his wisdom, the Governor of Osun State secured a High Court ruling to initiate the process that produced the newly sworn-in local government chairmen.
Where was the Oyo APC when their ill-informed counterpart in Edo State unilaterally voided an electoral process by sacking democratically elected local government chairmen without any court ruling? It seems the APC only cries foul when it cannot impose its will.
His Excellency Governor Ademola Adeleke is not only highly educated but also deeply loved by his people, a people known for their rich cultural heritage, hard work, and vibrant festivities. If they elected a governor who embodies their culture and values, why has that become a thorn in the flesh of the APC’s sick dogs?
Let it be clear: sick dogs cannot call a healthy, roaring Lion, to order. Seyi Makinde dismantled the APC in Oyo long ago, and the party remains in tatters.
I advise those jobless APC politicians to halt their miscalculated tantrums before Tinubu himself dismisses them for incompetence and slothfulness. They are nothing but an embarrassment.
