Managing Director of Bespoke Holdings Limited, Dr. Christian Olatunji, has pledged immediate material and technical support for the ongoing construction of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council’s ultra-modern Congress Hall.
Dr. Olatunji made the commitment on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, during an on-site visit to the NUJ FCT Secretariat, where he carried out a physical assessment of the project as part of the growing partnership between his company and the Council.
He was warmly received by the Council leadership, with the Chairman, Comrade Grace Ike, represented by the Vice Chairman, Comrade Yahaya Ndambabo, alongside other executive members. The NUJ team took the delegation on a tour of the Secretariat, with particular focus on the Congress Hall construction site.
After inspecting the level of work done, Dr. Olatunji noted that substantial work still remained and assured the Council of immediate intervention to fast-track completion.
“Houses are not built on paper, but on the ground,” he said. “I will delegate an engineer to the site to provide technical support. It is better to have more than one engineer on site so they can work together with the Council’s engineer in any area of need.”
He described the Congress Hall project as laudable and reaffirmed Bespoke Holdings’ commitment to its success.
“The project is a very laudable one and we are happy to be part of it. Whatever we can do at this DPC level, we will do, and later we will provide more support,” he added.
Responding, the Vice Chairman, Comrade Yahaya Ndambabo, expressed the Council’s appreciation for the gesture, describing Dr. Olatunji not only as a real estate developer but also as a philanthropist committed to community development.
He noted that the provision of building materials and technical support from Bespoke Holdings would significantly accelerate the completion of the facility, which is expected to serve journalists in the FCT and beyond.
