The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the six Moroccan cities set to host matches for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, along with nine stadiums that will serve as venues for the prestigious tournament.
In collaboration with the Moroccan Football Federation and the Local Organising Committee, CAF revealed that Rabat, Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fes, and Tangier will be the host cities. Rabat, Morocco’s capital, will take center stage, hosting the most matches across four stadiums, including the iconic Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah.
“Morocco has consistently shown its capability to host world-class events, and we are confident that the facilities and atmosphere will make the 2025 AFCON a memorable experience for fans and teams alike,” said CAF President Patrice Motsepe.
The selection highlights Morocco’s dedication to football and its readiness to deliver a top-tier tournament.
An official from the Moroccan Football Federation added, “This is a proud moment for our country, and we are excited to welcome the continent to experience our rich culture and love for the sport.”
The 2025 AFCON is expected to draw significant global attention, as the host cities and stadiums gear up to showcase Africa’s premier footballing talent.
