Black Ops 6 players have found a clue that points towards a new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game hidden away in a revived Call Of Duty map.

Black Ops 6’s Season 2: Reloaded went live earlier today (February 21), bringing classic maps, new weapons and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the first-person shooter.

One of the two new multiplayer maps is Grind. Set in a Californian skatepark, the level was first introduced in 2012’s Black Ops 2 and returned for 2018’s Black Ops 4. The revived Black Ops 6 version of Grind features a skate shop that some players believe also hints at a new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game.

Inside the shop is a neon sign displaying the date March 4 2025 beneath some artwork that looks very similar to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater logo. Both Call Of Duty and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater are owned by Activision Blizzard.

The original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater was released in 1999 and was followed by a number of spin-offs and sequels. The last mainline game was 2015’s Pro Skater 5 while a remake of the first two games was released in 2021. However, plans for a remake of the third and fourth were scrapped following Activision Blizzard’s merger with Vicarious Visions.

Last September, Hawk got the rumour mill stirring again when he confirmed “something” was in the works. “I wish I could tell you more, but I can tell you that I’ve been talking to Activision again, we’re working on something. It will be something the fans will truly appreciate,” he explained.

And earlier this week, professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones revealed that a new game was about to be announced after he was previously featured in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 as a playable character.

In other news, Tony Hawk has updated fans on the iconic Wesley Snipes “race war” meme, saying the pair have “squashed the beef”.
