Chris Pratt has commented on his brother-in-law Patrick Schwarzenegger’s performance in The White Lotus season three, and joked about the actor’s nude scenes.
Pratt is married to author Katherine Schwarzenegger, Patrick’s brother and the daughter of action legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, from his marriage to Maria Shriver.
Speaking to E! News, the Guardians Of The Galaxy star quipped “I know where my eyes went — I’m not blood related to him, I was looking at that dick, bro,” before adding: “No, he looks amazing. Obviously, he’s a physical specimen, but also, he’s a really solid actor, because the character he’s playing is completely different than who he is”.
Pratt went on to compliment the acting skills of his brother-in-law, as well as the dedication to his craft. “He created a character. And it feels natural and good. I’ve been telling everybody for years, I’ve been telling him as well, I really think we’re entering a decade of Patrick” he said.
“I’ve been watching him, he’s just been working hard. He’s actually a hustler across the board, not just with acting but with business, and everything. He’s super driven, and I know he gets that from both his mom and his dad”.
The HBO drama returned for its third season on February 16, with Schwarzenegger making headlines for his nude scenes.
Arnold Schwarzenegger reacted after attending the show’s premiere, posting on Instagram: “I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate (Patrick Schwarzenegger) at the ‘White Lotus’ Season 3 premiere. What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say – the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”.
Recently, the young star also addressed his frustration at accusations of nepotism.
