Disney+ has shared a new trailer for upcoming K-drama Hyper Knife, starring Park Eun-bin and Sul Kyung-gu. Here’s everything you need to know about the new series.
What is the plot of Hyper Knife?
Choi Deok-hee, hailed as the best neurosurgeon in the world, is asked to be a mentor to Jeong Se-ok, a promising medical student with a knack for neurosurgery and a hunger for growth and knowledge. However, during her time as his pupil, Deok-hee begins to feel like something is off about Se-ok.
He eventually ends his mentorship of her when she is kicked out of an operating room after an incident occurs. Now, Se-ok has a reputation as a genius doctor, despite working out of an illegal operating room. When she crosses paths with her former mentor again, they confront each other with personal vendettas and clashing ideals.
Who is in the cast of the new Disney+ K-drama?
Extraordinary Attorney Woo star Park Eun-bin is set to play Se-ok, while veteran actor Sul Kyung-gu stars as her former mentor, Deok-hee. All Of Us Are Dead star Lee Chan-young and The Bequeathed’s Park Byung-eun will play supporting characters.
Hyper Knife is directed by Kim Jung-hyun, who was behind 2022’s Crazy Love and 2019’s My Fellow Citizens.

The streamer dropped a new trailer for the series on February 20, which begins with the moment Se-ok confronts Deok-hee to teach her his ways as a neurosurgeon. Despite her being a top student, Deok-hee admits that there is something off about her. She is seen standing over a bound man who lays on the floor, before she unsheathes a pocket knife and slices.
