Drake and PartyNextDoor have announced their collaborative album ‘$exy $ongs 4 U’ which is set for release next week.

Today (February 3), Drake took to his official Instagram account to share a teaser clip of the project. The video clip sees three women in a karaoke room. One of them is singing into a microphone while the two others are deep in conversation while PartyNextDoor is singing.

The camera then zooms in on Drake, who is slumped on a sofa and then starts lipsyncing along to the track that is soundtracking the clip. The album – titled ‘$exy $ongs 4 U’ – is set for release next Friday (February 14).

The album is expected to be the project that the ‘Hotline Bling’ rapper had referred to during his performance in Toronto last summer.

“On behalf of me and Party, we’ve been working on something for y’all,” he told fans towards the end of the concert.

“So, you get the summer over with, you do what you need to do. I know all you girls are outside. When it gets a little chilly, [a] PartyNextDoor and Drake album will be waiting right there for you.”

‘$exy $ongs 4 U’ will follow Drake’s last full-length release, 2023’s ‘For All The Dogs‘. In a three-star review of the album, NME shared: “In the hours shortly before the album dropped, Drake announced that he would take a break from music to focus on his health. “I probably won’t make music for a little bit,” he told fans. “I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit.” Hopefully he returns revitalised and renewed, because ‘For All The Dogs’- his third solo LP in as many years –  not only feels tiring, but sounds tired too.”

PartyNextDoor released his fourth studio album ‘PartyNextDoor 4’ last April. The rapper was the first artist ever signed to Drake’s OVO Sound record label and the two have collaborated on various tracks such as ‘Come and See Me’, ‘Loyal’, ‘Wednesday Night Interlude’, ‘Members Only’ and ‘With You’.

Back in 2023, Drake referred to PartyNextDoor as his “favourite artist in the world” and added: “I don’t mean to put you on the spot or anything. I know you hate this the most. I’m so grateful for you. I would not be the artist I am if it wasn’t for you,” (as per Billboard).

In other news, Drake’s father Dennis Graham recently commented on Kendrick Lamar‘s 2025 Grammy wins for ‘Not Like Us’ – the diss track aimed at his son.
