The Chairman of the PDP Caretaker Committee in Ekiti State, Hon. Dare Adeleke, has distanced the party and its members from being part of any coalition, particularly with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a telephone interview with our reporters, the Caretaker Chairman stated:
“The Ekiti PDP is going into the 2026 election as a united front, with all members on board.”
Adeleke emphasized that the emergence of new political alliances has no bearing on the PDP in Ekiti State.
“We have worked very hard over the past months to ensure cohesion and unity within the Ekiti PDP. We have achieved that unity and are determined to win the Ekiti election with our collective strength. There is no going back.”
He continued:
“We are taking Ekiti out of the hands of tyranny and cronyism, and we will liberate the people from the excruciating poverty, infrastructural decay, and developmental stagnation that Oyebanji’s APC government has plunged them into over the past four years. There is no going back,” he stressed.
Adeleke reaffirmed the party’s loyalty to the PDP leadership at the national level and praised their efforts in resolving internal crises.
“I can assure you that the PDP remains Nigeria’s most formidable party. Despite all that has happened, we remain one united family, still strong enough to wrest power from the failed APC government.”
The CTC Chairman also lauded the resilience of party members in Ekiti State and reassured them that their sacrifices are recognized and appreciated:
“I applaud every member of the Ekiti PDP who has stood firm. The party acknowledges every effort and will not forget their sacrifices. I urge them to continue their unwavering support as we move toward 2026, when we will achieve victory for all the hard work put in,” he said.
