The Federal Government has announced plans to utilize bamboo as a primary material in constructing affordable and durable smart homes for low- and medium-income earners across the country.
This initiative was revealed by the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, Mrs. Esuabana Nko Asanye.
She stated that the move is part of the government’s broader strategy to leverage local, sustainable materials and innovative technologies to address the nation’s housing deficit while promoting environmental sustainability.
