Hon. Dare Adeleke, Chairman of the PDP Ekiti State Caretaker Committee (CTC), has vehemently condemned a statement purportedly signed by committee members.

The members—Rt. Hon. Abeni Olayinka, Hon. Oladimeji Ayodele Joshua, Hon. Afolayan Akutupu, Hon. Olanipekun Bioye, Hon. Benjamen Ojo Olanila, Hon. Sunday Agbetuyi, Hon. Araromi Akindele Samuel, and Mrs. Bosede Ayodele—have denied issuing any such statement. The CTC chairman reiterated his commitment to the party’s cohesion in the state and warned detractors to cease their divisive actions.

“We do not know where such a document originated. It appears to have been crafted by disgruntled individuals intent on undermining our achievements in Ekiti. They thrive on disunity, seeking to polarize our party for their own political gain. Majority of the CTC members have repudiated the maliciously fabricated document,” Adeleke stated.

He further advised these individuals to “stop spreading falsehoods against me and other committee members. At no time did I, Dare Adeleke, disrespect or distance myself from the committee’s collective decisions. Such insinuations are mischievous and malicious. I urge those opposed to progress in Ekiti State to change their ways. The CTC was appointed to restore peace and harmony, and that mission will be accomplished by the grace of God. The statement released by these individuals, claiming to be from our committee, is fake and another tactic to disrupt peace in the PDP in Ekiti State,” he concluded.
