Kanye West has shown his support for Diddy and Chris Brown in a new slate of X posts – see what he had to say below.

Earlier this year, Kanye – legally known as Ye now – made his return to X (formerly Twitter). True to past form, he has now launched another controversial tirade on the social media platform, this time seemingly calling for Diddy’s release from prison.

Kanye wrote on X today (February 7): “FREE PUFF”. In a follow-up post, he slammed other celebrities: “YALL WATCH OUR BROTHER ROT AND NEVER SAY SHIT”.

Kanye then posts in support of Chris Brown, who has faced several domestic abuse charges in the past – most notably for assaulting Rihanna in 2009, for which he was put on five years probation and six months of community service.

Ye wrote: “WE ALL WATCHED THEM TRY TO CHACEL CHRIS BROWN AND AINT NOBODY DO NOTHING I WAS PUSSY THEN TOO CHRIS BROWN ITS TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF”.

Ye’s latest social media meltdown comes after he revealed in a recent interview that he has autism and believes he was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016. He said that the autism diagnosis helps explain his past erratic behaviour: “Autism takes you to a Rain Man thing. ‘Oh man, I’ma wear this Trump hat because I like Trump in general’. And then when people tell you to not do it, you just get on that one point. And that’s my problem.”

“When fans tell me to do my album a certain way, I’ll do it the opposite way. It’s so difficult for them because this is like a grown man, you can’t tell him,” he continued. “You can’t take control of his bank account. You can’t control what I’m saying on Twitter. The constant feeling of not being in control, spun me out of control.”

He also shared that he had stopped taking his bipolar disorder medication.

Diddy is currently in jail, where he awaits trial in May for the numerous charges against him for sexual assault, sexual trafficking and racketeering. Diddy has continuously denied all allegations against him and was arrested in September last year.

As for Chris Brown, besides the assault on Rihanna, he was reportedly under police investigation over the alleged battery of a woman in 2021, though charges that were later dropped due to “insufficient evidence”. Then, in October 2023, he was sued for allegedly hospitalising a man after he beat him with a tequila bottle and stomped on him in a nightclub.

In February 2023, Brown reacted to a renewed set of criticism he was receiving after the release of a collaboration with Chlöe Bailey. He wrote: “If y’all still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17-year-old, please kiss my whole entire ass. I’m fucking 33. I’m so tired of y’all running with this narrative.”

Last July, Brown was sued for the alleged assault of a group of concertgoers. Earlier this month, he filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. for $500million following allegations of sexual assault put forward in a recent documentary.
