Renowned singer Stella Monye, who has recently begun modifying her name to Stella Addahm, has once again proven her endurance, this time in her second marathon within five months.
After participating in the Lagos Women’s Marathon, Stella took on the Access Bank Marathon, officially registering for the full 42-kilometer race. However, organizers expressed concerns and recommended she opt for the 10-kilometer race instead, a decision that was understandable given the intensity of the event.
Additionally, Stella was considered for the entertainment segment of the marathon. This year’s race, themed “Miles Memorial,” was dedicated to honoring the late CEO, Herbert Wigwe and his family, leading to a reconsideration of the entertainment lineup.
Stella has long been a part of the sports world, dating back to her secondary school days. She was even invited to join the Falcon team during its formation but ultimately chose music over sports.
Her participation in these marathons further highlights her dedication to both fitness and endurance, balancing her passion for music with an active lifestyle.
