A 43-year-old man, Lateef Suleiman, has been arrested for allegedly killing his elder brother in Sepeteri, Oyo State, after accusing him of shooting him in a dream.
The tragic incident, which occurred at Alegunlode Compound in Sepeteri, left residents in shock after the suspect reportedly beat his 52-year-old brother, Mustapha Amidu, to death with a heavy rock.
Confirming the development, the Oyo State Police Command, through its spokesperson, DSP Ayanlade Olayinka, said the suspect claimed the deceased attacked him in his sleep.
According to the police statement, the case was reported by Badmus Yunisa.
