Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Dare Adeleke, has extended warm birthday Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, Chairman of the Local Government Staff Pension Board, describing him as a dedicated public servant with a rich pedigree in politics and governance.
In a congratulatory message released on his birthday anniversary, Adeleke who described Igr as an aburo and long time ally, praised Ige’s long-standing contributions to grassroots development and state-building, noting that his record in public office reflects commitment, loyalty and a deep understanding of the needs of the people.
He recalled Ige’s journey through various key positions, including his tenure as Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, his service as a Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, and his role as Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism, saying each office was marked by purposeful leadership and impactful initiatives.
According to Adeleke, Ige has consistently demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, particularly in his current role as Chairman of the Local Government Staff Pension Board, where he has worked to safeguard the welfare and dignity of retired local government workers across the state.

Adeleke commended what he described as Ige’s “rich pedigree in politics and public service,” adding that his contributions to his immediate community and Oyo State at large have earned him respect across party lines.
