PDP chieftain, Dare Adeleke, has reacted strongly to former Governor Ayo Fayose’s congratulatory message to the “Wike imposed and largely unaccepted Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Mohammed Abdulrahman”, who Adeleke referred to as a” fake, toilet paper chairman”.

Adeleke mocked Fayose, who once described the PDP as a “dead party,” saying, “The dead of conscience is congratulating his fellow mummified in corruption.”

Speaking on what he termed “the circus of irregularities instituted by Wike” Adeleke noted: “The four suspended members have no single power to suspend their maiguard, talk less of their ward chairman. They are all a bunch of jokers, now suspended APC Houseboys”.

Expressing disbelief that Fayose still associates himself with the PDP, Adeleke said:

“The world can now see how thoroughly shameless and bereft of self-discipline Ayo Fayose truly is. No wonder people say he is never sober, always inebriated by the demons that push him into all manner of evil mischief.

This is the same Fayose who sold his own son’s ticket as a PDP candidate in exchange for money from Biodun Oyebanji. How much filthier can a man’s conscience get? He even has the effrontery to make veiled threats against Seyi Makinde.

I would like to remind Fayose that Makinde is not his mate. Whereas Fayose failed woefully as governor with zero development to show for his tenure in Ekiti State, Makinde has demonstrated true leadership with huge developmental strides and progress in Oyo, while uniting the PDP at the National level and he remains the star boy of Nigeria politics whereas Fayose maintains his position as chief errand boy to Wike.
Where Fayose craves attention by indulging in theatrics, Makinde commands dignified respect. In that interview, Fayose sounded like an embittered, pathetic drunk.” Adeleke smirked.

Continuing, Adeleke said Fayose’s congratulatory message to his “co-traveller in crime,” Abdulrahman, “one unrecognized Acting National Chairman whose position is more worthless than toilet paper,” is merely a continuation of his “tomfoolery and penchant for mischief and divisiveness.”

He went further:

“It is because of anti-democratic forces like Ayo Fayose and Nyesom Wike that President Trump is now coming to assist helpless Nigerians burdened by the demonic grip of our democratic structure. They are hell-bent on murdering democracy in our country.”

Adeleke, however, praised members of the PDP National Working Committee who, according to him, stood by the truth despite threats and coercion.

“Loyal party members appreciate the resilience of the 14 NWC members who stood by the truth when the latest shenanigans played out. Their names will be written in gold. But for the traitors led by their paymaster, Wike, let it be known that they have murdered sleep. Anyanwu, Bature, and the legal adviser will face humiliation and the wrath of all souls who made huge sacrifices to entrench democracy in Nigeria.”

Adeleke concluded with a defiant note:

“Despite all efforts to stop it, our convention shall go on, and we shall be victorious. Whatever Tinubu plans, he should prepare for Nigerians. It is now Tinubu versus Nigeria and Trump’s latest intervention is just the beginning of the APC’s downfall.”
