The K’s have shared a teaser for ‘Breakdown In My Bedroom’, the lead single from their upcoming second album, ‘Pretty On The Internet’.

The St. Helens band announced their new album in November, and it is set to be released on June 27. You can pre-order/pre-save it here.

It appears now that the group are preparing to release the lead single ‘Breakdown In My Bedroom’ this week. On Sunday (February 2), they posted a 20-second clip on their social media, alongside the message: “The wait is almost over. Breakdown In My Bedroom 05/02/25.”

The clip features the band’s signature jangling guitars and pulsing, propulsive energy, with frontman James Boyle singing: “A few times a week I go insane / Know I should leave but I stay / Well I’m alone too / Breakdown in my bedroom”.

The band have already been confirmed for a number of major festival appearances this summer. They are on the bill for Glasgow’s TRNSMT from July 11 to 13, as well as Portsmouth’s Victorious Festival, which takes place from August 22 to 24.

They will also be playing at the Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington over the late May bank holiday weekend, and at this year’s edition of Kendal Calling in the Lake District, which runs from July 31 to August 3.

‘Pretty On The Internet’ will be the follow-up to 2024’s ‘I Wonder If The World Knows?’, which reached Number Three on the UK Albums Chart last April.

Speaking to NME last year about their success to date, Boyle said: “We’ve absolutely toured our arses off, which is why we’re in the position that we’re in. We just constantly built that living following up and people know that we’ve done this ourselves. I think people respect the fact we’ve dragged ourselves to the top.”

The new album has been produced by Grammy winner Jim Lowe (Taylor Swift, Nick Cave, Stereophonics) and was recorded around the UK. Before its release, the band will be touring around the UK in April – find the full list of dates here and buy your tickets here.
