Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, have arrived in the United Kingdom for a landmark state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
The presidential aircraft landed at Stansted Airport in London on Tuesday afternoon, where the couple received a formal welcome from British officials and representatives of the Nigerian High Commission.
The visit, hosted by King Charles III, is expected to advance cooperation between both nations in key areas including diplomacy, economic development, and security.
This trip marks the first state visit by a Nigerian president to the UK in nearly 37 years, signalling a renewed commitment to deepening relations between the two countries.
