Taylor Swift was seen looking perplexed when she was “aggressively” booed by Eagles fans at the Super Bowl – watch footage of the moment below.
The long-anticipated event saw the Kansas City Chiefs go head-to-head with the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans yesterday (February 9).
Fans knew the pop star would be attending the game to support boyfriend Travis Kelce after an interview emerged with the athlete’s brother – former Philadelphia Eagles centre, Jason Kelce.
When the ‘Midnights’ hitmaker was briefly shown on the jumbotron at the event, the crowd erupted in boos, and she was seen glancing around at those in her suite – among them Ice Spice and the Haim sisters, Este, Danielle, and Alana — and asking: “What’s going on?”

It’s a far cry from previous appearances that went down far more smoothly, with her presence at the 2024 Super Bowl helping it become the most-watched broadcast in US TV history, since the 1969 moon landing.
Some fans have speculated that it’s due to her over exposure causing “Taylor Swift fatigue”, a term which also cropped up following the 2025 Grammys, where she walked away empty handed – the first time the singer had ever been snubbed when she had six or more nominations.
“Truth is, she’s been covered at every game,” wrote one viewer. “The people in the stadium have seen this stuff at every game they watched either in person or on TV. Taylor Swift fatigue. That said, it’s ridiculous to boo her.”

Following the rocky reception from the Super Bowl, Serena Williams, who joined Kendrick Lamar during his Halftime Show, ended up defending the singer on social media: “I love you @taylorswift 13 don’t listen to those boos!!!” she wrote in a post on X/ Twitter.
Ahead of her on-camera appearance, a source had told People she didn’t “want to be the centre of attention” and rather was looking “to support Travis and help him focus on the game.”
In other Taylor Swift news, the singer made headlines after she was seen dancing with Margaret Qualley to Billie Eilish’s live rendition of ‘Birds Of A Feather’ at the 2025 Grammys. She was also given high words of praise from Gracie Abrams, who declared that no man has “come close to defining pop culture” as she has.
