Wes Anderson is set to release his new film The Phoenician Scheme this summer.
The espionage comedy drama tells the story of a family business and stars Benicio del Toro as Zsa-zsa Korda, one of the richest men in Europe while Mia Threapleton plays his daughter and Michael Cera portrays her tutor.
The film features an all star cast which also includes Tom Hanks, Bill Murray, Bryan Cranston, Riz Ahmed, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Richard Ayoade and Benedict Cumberbatch.
According to Variety, Focus Features has landed the domestic distribution rights to the movie, which is set to land in the US on a limited release on May 30 before a wide release on June 6.

Universal Pictures, Focus’ parent studio, is handling international distribution but a date is still to be set for a UK release.
In addition to directing The Phoenician Scheme, Anderson has also penned the script with the story co-written by Roman Coppola.
Elsewhere, the director recently opened up about his experience making 2009 stop-motion film Fantastic Mr. Fox, and the challenges he faced getting his crew on board with his approach to directing.
Speaking to Variety at the time, Anderson said: “My ideas for how to go about making the movie were probably unconventional in ways I didn’t realise … and so I ended up doing a lot of things that made it a lot more difficult.”
Those “things” included unusual ways of capturing audio as well as redoing takes and lighting.
Anderson went on to tackle stop-motion again with 2018’s Isle Of Dogs, which NME called his “best work yet” in a five-star review.
Meanwhile, the director won his first Oscar at the 2024 ceremony for Best Live Action Short Film for the Benedict Cumberbatch-starring The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar – but was not present to accept the award.
