Oyo PDP chieftain, Hon. Dare Adeleke, has once again launched a blistering attack on former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, describing him as a “grouchy serial loser.”
Adeleke was reacting to Fayose’s statement dismissing an order granted by an Oyo State High Court concerning the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention. He said Fayose “remains a rotten egg that reeks constantly of shamelessness.”
Fayose had earlier derided the court order as an “Ibadan judicial and political awada kerikeri of a hand-to-mouth judge,” calling it “dead on arrival.”
In a fiery response, Adeleke said Fayose was only crying “sour grapes,” predicting that he would “keep weeping when the PDP convention holds in Ibadan.”
“Our convention shall hold,” Adeleke declared. “And the impudent APC houseboys – Fayose and Wik, shall be expelled. We are growing stronger, while Ayo Fayose and his cohorts beg for crumbs from Wike. I strongly advise President Tinubu to distance himself from those sycophantic and irresponsible errand boys.”
He accused Fayose and others of betraying the PDP for selfish gain, adding: “The disgraceful elements who woke up to sell the family house to the APC have been exposed. Very soon, they will be politically destitute and homeless.”
Adeleke congratulated loyal party members, saying: “We are in a celebratory mood while others reap the bitter fruit of perfidy. I heard Fayose was humiliated at the one-lane road commissioning in Ikogosi. That will be his fate henceforth since he refuses to change his dishonest ways.”
He also dismissed the recent ruling allegedly influenced by Nyesom Wike: “No doubt, the ‘Jankara’ judgment bought by Wike will not stand,” Adeleke said, calling on the National Judicial Council (NJC) to investigate “injustice Omotosho.”
“Fayose should realize that the NJC knows all the bad eggs in the judiciary,” he added, “and he can rest assured that Omotosho sits right at the top of that list.”
