Nigerian scholar Oghenetega Steffi Eberechukwu Ogodo was among the class of 2024 graduates who received a Master’s in Urban Planning from the prestigious Graduate School of Design at Harvard University on Wednesday, May 23, 2024.

Tega was a Harvard Scholar and a Bloomberg Leadership Fellow, completing her industrial training with the Rochester City Council in New York. Her fieldwork focused on the theme “People Must Feed,” advocating for decent and nutritious food for all, including the downtrodden in society.

Popularly known as Tega, she graduated with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of Lagos, where she majored in Urban and Regional Planning within the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.

Tega is the daughter of Christian Ogodo, Nigeria’s prominent news anchor on Arise News’ Weekend Newsnight and the Managing Editor of Arise News Media Group.

She has secured employment with an engineering consulting firm in Chicago that specializes in logistics.
