All schoolchildren and teachers abducted during the May 15 attack on Ahoro-Esiele community in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State have been released, Paparazzi Online can confirm.
The victims, numbering 46 pupils, teachers, and the school’s principal, were seized when heavily armed gunmen invaded the secondary school community, an attack that triggered nationwide concern and condemnation.
The abduction took a tragic turn days later when one of the kidnapped teachers, Michael Oyedokun, was beheaded by his captors, deepening public outrage over the incident.
Paparazzi Online has now confirmed the successful rescue of the remaining victims, though details of the operation, including whether any arrests were made, have not yet been disclosed.
