The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Olatunji Disu, has intensified its crackdown on “one-chance” robbery operations.

On Thursday, seven more suspects were paraded, and 13 tinted vehicles believed to have been used in criminal activities were seized.

Addressing the press, CP Disu urged residents to stay vigilant, especially as the holiday season draws near. “The public’s continued support is vital to the fight against crime,” he said. “Together, we will continue to make strides in making the FCT and its environs a safer place.”

The Commissioner highlighted the importance of community collaboration in the success of these operations and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to maintaining heightened security throughout the Yuletide season.

“We will not relent in our efforts to ensure that Abuja remains a safe place for everyone,” Disu added. “These operations are just the beginning, and we remain resolute in our mission to rid the city of criminal elements.”

Residents have been encouraged to report suspicious activities promptly, as the FCT Police Command continues its tactical operations aimed at preventing crime and ensuring the safety of both residents and visitors to Abuja.
