The Chairman of the House of Representative Committee on ICT and Cybercrime, Hon. Adedeji Olajide (OdidiOmo), has commended Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Ademola Adeleke of Osun State for their successful co-hosting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) South-West Zonal Congress.

Describing the collaboration between the two governors as “a true representation of excellent democratic principles,” the lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest and Southwest, emphasized that the unity displayed would greatly strengthen the PDP and position it favorably for upcoming elections.

“It was indeed a landmark congress in the history of our nation, where two pro-development governors came together to host a successful and unifying event,” he said. “I am confident that this collaboration will place our great party in a strong position to win the South-West and bring much-needed development to the region.”

OdidiOmo extended his congratulations to the re-elected PDP South-West Zonal Chairman, Mr. Kamorudeen Ajisafe, as well as all newly elected executive members.

He also celebrated the victories of Chief Adeola Ogunrinde (National Ex-Officio from Ekiti State), Chief Sanya Adefarti (Zonal Publicity Secretary), Chief Mrs. Lanre Fajuyi, Alhaja Mudijat Abosede Adedibu (Zonal Women Leader), and Mrs. Mosunmola Oluwakemi Bello (National Ex-Officio Member).

The lawmaker urged the new officers to uphold democratic values and work diligently to present the party’s strongest candidates in future elections. He further advised them to prioritize equity and fairness in all their undertakings.
