
Saudi Arabia has officially declared Sunday, March 30, 2025, as Eid-el-Fitr, marking the conclusion of Ramadan. The announcement came after the sighting of the Shawwal crescent, confirming the end of the fasting month.
The confirmation was shared via Haramain’s official Facebook page, a key platform for the global Muslim community.
“The crescent moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. #EidAlFitr will be celebrated on Sunday, 30th March 2025,” the statement read.
Eid-el-Fitr, one of the most significant Islamic celebrations, is observed by Muslims worldwide with prayers, feasts, and acts of charity.
