Sabi, widely recognised for his hit track “Show Your Style,” was said to have been attacked in what sources described as a targeted shooting, though details surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Confirming the killing, the singer’s younger brother, Kingsley, told Daily Sun that authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the attack.
“We have reported the matter, and the authorities are already investigating what happened,” he said, expressing shock over the sudden loss.
As of the time of filing this report, security agencies are yet to issue an official statement, while the motive behind the killing remains unknown. Further details are expected as investigations progress.
In a separate development, Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has opened up about a major lifestyle transformation, revealing that quitting smoking and cutting out alcohol, soda, and energy drinks has significantly improved his well-being.
The “Oleku” crooner shared the update via his 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) page on Tuesday night, describing the decision as life-changing.
“Quitting Loud and cigarette is by far the best decision I ever made in my life… from a chronic smoker to a very happy non-smoker. God is the greatest! Feeling unchained and saved,” he wrote.
Ice Prince added that he has been nearly a year free from alcohol and sugary or caffeinated drinks, noting that the change has brought him lasting happiness.
“Also almost a year FREE from alcohol, soda, energy drinks… Dear God, I intend to stay and feel this way for the rest of my life,” he added.
