Tickets for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the Cheetahs of Benin Republic, scheduled for this Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, will go on sale starting Friday.
According to the Nigerian Football Federation’s (NFF) Marketing and Sponsorship Department, fans can purchase VIP tickets for N3,000, while regular stand tickets will cost N1,000. “Fans will have several convenient locations to buy tickets, including Uyo Township Stadium and Government Primary School in Obio Etoi,” the NFF said in a statement.
Additional sale points include popular local radio stations like Memories FM on Ernest Bassey Street, Comfort FM in Ikot Akpanabia, and Inspiration FM on Udo Udoma Road, as well as De-Choice Shopping Plaza.
More locations will be announced by Thursday evening.Anticipation is building for the Matchday 1 encounter in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers, which will kick off at 5 PM on Saturday.
Fans are expected to fill the stadium, eager to support the Super Eagles as they begin their journey towards securing a place in the tournament finals.
“The team is ready, and we’re calling on fans to come out in numbers and cheer for the Super Eagles,” an NFF official said. “It’s going to be a thrilling match.”
