In a bid to provide relief to vulnerable Lagosians during ongoing economic challenges, the socio-political group TeamNigeria4Change began distributing free bread and bean cakes across five locations in Lagos on Wednesday.

The initiative is part of an effort to support and complement the impactful programmes led by Lagos State First Lady, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

Under the banner of “Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Cares: Food Support Intervention,” the distribution is taking place in key areas such as Ikeja, Ogba, Ijaye, Shomolu, and Ikorodu. TeamNigeria4Change is spearheading this effort to ensure that those hit hardest by economic difficulties can access basic food items.

Speaking on the initiative, the group highlighted their ongoing commitment to the welfare of Lagosians.

“This food support initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to complement the work of the First Lady in supporting the most vulnerable members of society,” a representative from TeamNigeria4Change said.

The group is no stranger to such interventions, having distributed Eko food packs across Lagos during recent Sallah and Easter celebrations.
