President Bola Tinubu is currently engaging in discussions with Alhaji Asari Dokubo, a former prominent agitator in the oil-rich Niger Delta region.

According to Channels Television, Dokubo’s presence suggests his potential involvement in the President’s efforts to address issues related to the Niger Delta, particularly the eradication of crude oil theft in the country.

This meeting follows Tinubu’s previous engagements with key figures from the region, including Chief Timi Alaibe, the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and Dr Dakuku Peterside, the former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
