President Bola Tinubu has authorized a 50% discount on interstate travel across 28 premium bus routes, addressing concerns over escalating transportation expenses.
Additionally, Nigerians intending to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve in various regions of the country have been granted a 100% reimbursement on rail fares.
To provide clarity, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu’s special assistant on information and strategy, recently disclosed the specific routes expected to benefit from this subsidy in a recent post on X.
Here is the full list of transport companies participating in the scheme:
- GIG (God is Good)
- Chisco Transport
- Young Shall Grow
- God Bless Ezenwata
- Area Motor
Onanuga announced today that the scheme would commence immediately, with two God is Good locations initiating the program.
