-Atafo Igbinedion (Lagos):
Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has publicly apologized to fellow artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, for making derogatory comments about him.
The two artists, who have had a history of conflict, were previously entangled in controversies including accusations surrounding the death of Tagbo and financial disputes.
After being briefly detained by police, reportedly following a defamation suit by Davido, Dammy Krane took to his official X handle to express regret for his past actions. He apologized to both Davido and his fans, admitting he had disappointed many.
In a post on Sunday, Dammy Krane once again pleaded for Davido’s forgiveness but did not specify the exact cause of offense, saying, “PLEASE @davido I’M BEGGING. I’M ON MY KNEES.”
