Oyo PDP chieftain, Dare Adeleke, has advised former governor Ayo Fayose’s family to “take him to a psychiatric hospital, as soon as possible.”
Adeleke, speaking to our reporters in Ibadan, said: “Fayose’s actions are no longer normal. Is it when he pulls off his clothes and enters the market that his family will know there’s something very wrong with his mental health?”
Responding to Fayose’s latest statement, where he claimed he felt like using a microphone to hit former President Olusegun Obasanjo on the head during his birthday party, Adeleke said: “Do such words come from the mouth of a sane person? Fayose has crossed the boundary of decency. Not that he ever had a drop of anything decent in his blood. He has always been a rotten scoundrel, a shame to his family, a bastard who thought nothing of putting his own birth father inside the boot of a vehicle. A thug who thought nothing of turning his father’s burial into a theatre of the deranged.
“Already, his actions towards his own father, dead and alive, have earned him a free First Class pass to hellfire,” Adeleke added.
According to Adeleke: “Yorubaland is highly disgusted by Fayose’s acts and pronouncements towards a former president – a man nearing 90 who still stressed himself to attend the birthday of a vagabond. Is it the pittance that Fayose sent as transport that he thinks gives him the right to insult his elder and better by all ramifications? Thank God OBJ returned his stupid money. What does Fayose – an errand boy to Tinubu, Wike and Biodun Oyebanji – have to his name that could ever compete with Obasanjo’s massive business empire and vehicles of progress, empowerment and human development? Or is it because, as is being alleged, the land-grabbing Minister of the FCT, Wike, has allotted him some of the illegally acquired land in Abuja? Fayose should know that soldier go, soldier come. One day, those alleged lands shared to him to compensate for his betrayal of his people and party will be revoked with just one stroke of the pen!”
Continuing, a visibly miffed Adeleke noted: “Ayo Fayose is highly uncultured and a mad person. How can a person who calls himself former governor say, he felt like hitting a 90yr old man on his head, with a microphone? What manner of insanity is that?”
“I call on Yoruba elders to warn this brigand to stop denigrating our revered leader. The people may have no option but to react in the same manner.
“The same money he demanded to be sent back is part of the money he collected from Wike for his role in the grand betrayal of the PDP.
“Fayose is sick; besides being infected with poverty of the soul, he is now ravaged by rabies and should be attended to quickly before he spreads it,” Adeleke said in disgust.
