Hon. Dare Adeleke, Special Adviser to Governor Makinde on Federal Constituency Matters, has expressed his condolences to Chief Bayo Lawal, Senior Executive Assistant to the Governor for General Administration, on the passing of his beloved wife, Justice Beatrice Adesuwa Oke-Lawal (rtd).
Adeleke conveyed his deepest sympathy to Lawal, describing the late Justice Beatrice Oke-Lawal as a distinguished legal luminary whose loss is profoundly felt across the nation. He noted that she was a mother figure to many, and her demise is a painful tragedy.
He stated:
“It was with great shock that I received the news of Justice Beatrice Oke-Lawal’s passing. She was a respected judge of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“It is even more painful for us as a family, as she has been a rallying point for all of us since marrying the eminent Chief Bayo Lawal, my honorable uncle.
“As a judge, Mama Beatrice upheld the values of fairness, equity, and justice for all, and she remained steadfast in her commitment to ensuring that everyone received justice.
“She dedicated her life to serving the nation and her family with unwavering determination and focus.
“Indeed, Justice Beatrice Oke-Lawal lived a life of service and godliness, and she will be sorely missed by all.
“Her humility, vibrancy, kindness, intelligence, love for others, and wisdom distinguished her from her peers.
“I extend my heartfelt sympathy to my uncle, Chief Bayo Lawal, during this difficult time, and I pray that God grants him, their children, and other family members the strength to bear this tremendous loss.
“May God receive her soul, and may the angels welcome her with timbrels and songs of joy, to God’s glory.”
