It would seem that the JAF/BOYENATION rally, which overtook Ibadan last week, is leaving some APC non-starters weak in the knees. Their shaky, vague and irrelevant standing in the party they betrayed their father’s home for has made them so desperate that they are now concocting falsehoods to escape the murk they created.
The fact is, Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja was left so dizzy by the JAF/BOYENATION outing that even the APC has realised how washed out a politician he truly is.
I would not have responded to the lineup of fabricated APM members he claimed paid him a visit, but Arapaja is a drowning man grabbing at any straw to save his fast-disappearing political career.
We must correct fake news with facts at all times, else people like Arapaja may get away with spreading outright lies. What he is trying to do is impress the APC leadership, who have since abandoned him, and buff up a non-existent political relevance.
I must make it clear that nobody knows the fake APM members who purportedly visited Taofeeq Arapaja. He probably gathered a few people from his father’s compound and termed them APM. No one in the APM would visit a political castaway, a man who could not move a stone along with him when he joined the APC.
Note that APM members are in the multitudes, and thousands of APC members defected to the mass movement, the unstoppable APM, at the JAF/BOYENATION, a dazzling phenomenon everyone in Nigeria watched on TV.
As a matter of fact, most APC leaders and members in Oyo are already in the APM.
The JAF/BOYENATION showed how massive the support for the APM is and how strong the party is in Oyo State.
I can only advise the APC leadership not to waste their money on an ingrate like Taofiki Arapaja. He is preparing the ground to collect money from Zaccheus. Again, those faces are not members of our party, and they should be disregarded as impostors.
