…as Family Pleads Amid Natasha Osawaru Controversy
Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has spoken out for the first time since the controversy involving him, his wife, and Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru began dominating social media conversations.
In a brief yet unsettling message posted on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, the award-winning singer wrote simply: “Help me.”
The cryptic plea came just hours after his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, raised public alarm about the singer’s wellbeing. In an emotional Instagram post, Hyacinth referenced lyrics from one of 2Face’s classic songs, writing:
“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us save you. You’ve been suffering for too long. God knows.”
The family’s concerns come after weeks of escalating drama involving 2Face and Osawaru.
Reports indicate that the tension began in the United Kingdom, where the couple allegedly had a heated altercation that led to police intervention and the singer’s brief arrest. The controversy resurfaced during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, in which 2Face and Osawaru were seen arguing in real time before thousands of viewers.
The incidents have intensified speculation about a deepening crisis in 2Face’s marriage, with fans flooding social media to express shock and concern over the singer’s wellbeing.
Despite the mounting attention, neither 2Face nor Natasha Osawaru has released a detailed statement addressing the situation as of the time of filing this report.
