Nigerian workers from the Nigeria Labour Congress (TUC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) staged a protest at the National Assembly against the removal of fuel subsidy.

During the demonstration, they managed to pull down the main gate leading into the complex, despite facing resistance from security operatives.

The protest was led by NLC president Joe Ajaero and other labor officials who had gathered at the Unity Fountain before proceeding to the National Assembly.
