President Tinubu, in celebration of Professor Wole Soyinka’s upcoming 90th birthday on July 13th, has honored the distinguished playwright, poet, and novelist by naming the Arterial Road N20 from Northern Parkway to Outer Northern Expressway (ONEX) as the Professor Wole Soyinka Highway.
This decision, recommended by the FCT administration, was announced by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
President Tinubu commended Soyinka for bringing honor and recognition to Nigeria as the first African to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.
