Lagos police operatives have arrested two suspects, Isah Amohullahi (30) and Abubakar Isah (32), for possessing suspected human tongues during a stop-and-search operation on Otedola Bridge on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
According to a statement by Ben Hundeyin, the Lagos police command spokesman, the two men were intercepted by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in a taxi.
Following their arrest, investigations led to the apprehension of a third suspect, Gbolahan Temidayo, who allegedly sold the body parts to the men at Oyingbo Market.
“The investigation is ongoing at the Command headquarters, and the suspects will be arraigned in court if found guilty,” Hundeyin confirmed.
