The Squash Section at Lagos Country Club delivered a masterclass in youth development Saturday, crowning Frank Mba champion of its inaugural training clinic finale, and signaling a potential sea change in Nigeria’s competitive squash landscape.

Over 30 newly minted players descended on the club’s courts for the grand showdown, the culmination of a bi-annual development program that kicked off January 31. The turnout was impressive: seasoned regulars packed the sidelines to witness the next generation put their fundamentals on display.
Mba’s victory topped a competitive bracket that proved the training had stuck. Engr. Akin Akinkugbe finished runner-up, with Mrs. Ochuko Ikpikpini rounding out the podium in third, a mixed field that underscored the program’s inclusive reach across gender lines.
