President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Nigeria’s new Minister of Foreign Affairs following the resignation of Yusuf Tuggar.

The appointment marks a significant development in the country’s diplomatic leadership, with Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu expected to oversee Nigeria’s foreign policy direction and international engagements. Her emergence comes after Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar stepped down from the position, creating a major reshuffle within the Federal Executive Council.

Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, a former diplomat and public figure, is widely recognized for her contributions to national discourse and public service. Observers say her appointment could signal a fresh approach to Nigeria’s international relations under the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
