FCT, Abuja — The Supreme Court on Thursday, April 30, affirmed the leadership of the David Mark-led African Democratic Congress (ADC), in a ruling seen as significant ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to Paparazzi Online, the apex court’s decision settles the leadership dispute within the party and strengthens the position of former Senate President David Mark as head of the ADC faction recognised by the court.
The judgment is expected to shape political alignments and internal party preparations as political parties begin early strategising for the 2027 polls.
Party supporters welcomed the verdict, describing it as a victory for stability and unity within the ADC leadership structure.
